Yard Debris Removal FAQs
How much does yard debris removal cost in Portland?
Yard debris removal pricing is based on volume at $50 per cubic yard with a $75 minimum. A small load (few branches) runs $75-$150, medium loads (yard cleanup) cost $150-$350, and large loads (storm damage, major cleanup) are $350-$600+. Heavy materials like soil or wet debris may cost more.
Do you remove tree stumps?
We can remove small stumps that don’t require heavy equipment. Large stumps that are still rooted in the ground typically need a stump grinding service first. Once ground down, we can haul away the wood chips and debris.
Can you take soil, dirt, or gravel?
Yes! We haul away old sod, excess dirt, soil, gravel, sand, and other landscaping fill materials. Note that these materials are heavy, so pricing may be higher than typical green waste. Contact us for a quote on your specific project.
Do you offer storm damage cleanup?
Yes! We respond quickly to storm damage cleanup requests throughout Portland Metro. We can clear downed branches, wind-blown debris, and fallen limbs from your yard, driveway, and walkways. Call us after a storm and we’ll get you scheduled ASAP.
What happens to the yard debris?
We take yard debris to appropriate facilities where wood and green waste are recycled or composted whenever possible. Clean wood may go to wood recyclers, while mixed green waste goes to composting facilities. We minimize landfill disposal.
Can you remove old fencing along with yard debris?
Absolutely! We often combine yard debris removal with fence removal, trellis teardown, and other light demolition work. It’s more efficient to handle everything in one visit. Just let us know what you need removed.
Do I need to pile the debris before you arrive?
It’s helpful but not required. If you can pile branches and debris in an accessible location, it speeds up the job. But if debris is scattered around your yard, we’ll gather it—just let us know so we can quote appropriately.
